Price Attack Salon Manager Meagan started in the Castle Plaza salon back in 2007 and became Salon Manager in 2014. Being a long-time member of the Castle Plaza community, Meagan says she “likes to keep it local,” catching up with friends at Zitto, and regularly dropping into Drakes and Target. She tells us one of the coolest changes she has seen in her time at Castle Plaza is the centre’s recent full extensive interior and exterior facelift.

With a job like hers - full-on all day, every day - we asked Meagan about a time at work that stood out for her team as a special, out of the ordinary experience. She tells us it was when the shop won Retailer of the Year at their national conference. “Our team was recognised by our own peers, and we felt very proud to be acknowledged for our customer service focus,” she says.

Price Attack offers full salon services, from a cut and blowdry to all manner of styling, colouring, special occasion styling, balayage, splicing fashion colours, perms and more. But Meagan is equally proud of providing a fun environment for her clients and her team.

“We personalise every service and offer prescriptive home maintenance for every client. Clients can expect a professional, fun experience with us,” Meagan says.

One thing we all want to know about hairdressing is what the salon experts choose to use on their own hair. Meagan’s go-to service choices are a quality cut and blowdry to keep hair looking fabulous. She goes on to add she’s also a fan of Redken Volume Hair Shampoo and uses K18 for maintaining hair health.

Asked what she would choose if she could gift a service from her salon to another Castle Plaza retailer, Meagan instantly told us she would treat Lidia from the Sidewalk Cafe.  “Lidia supports our business by having weekly blowdrys, so I would love to offer her a full colour service,” explains Meagan.

It’s no surprise then that Meagan describes herself quite simply as “all things hair”. “I believe that hairdressing is exciting and fun - and never stays the same,” she says with a smile.
